Ravi Aurora is senior vice president, Global Public Policy and Community Relations at Mastercard. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring alignment with Mastercard’s public policy and business priorities coupled with community outreach. He leads a series of diverse global initiatives providing thought leadership and education to key stakeholders (consumers, financial institutions, merchants, governments) on the benefits of electronic payments, emerging technology, safety, security and risk mitigation. He also manages the organization’s strategic relationships with multilateral organizations such as the World Bank Group, IFC (International Finance Corporation), United Nations, AFI (Alliance for Financial Inclusion) and others.
Mr. Aurora leads the Master Your Card community empowerment program that helps consumers, small business and governments learn how to get more from their money via a financially empowering electronic payment network. He is also the global strategic advisor for EAST (Exploring Asian Societies and Trends), an employee-led Business Resource Group at Mastercard focused on creating a more inclusive culture and effectively driving business growth, financial performance and success in the global marketplace.
Mr. Aurora also serves on the Board of Directors of Woodstock Institute whose mission is to create a just financial system in which lower-wealth persons and communities, and people and communities of color, can achieve economic security and community prosperity.
