Richard Rothenberg is the CEO and Co-founder of Global A.I. Corporation, a Fintech company comprised of former quant traders and Phd scientists which uses AI and Big Data to enable actionable insights for governments and investors. Before that he was a quantitative trader and portfolio manager at Walleye Trading Advisors, a $10 Billion quant hedge fund; previously he was a quantitative trader and researcher in the algorithmic trading group at Deutsche Bank. Before that he worked for leading financial companies including Man Investments, Goldman Sachs and Prudential Financial in a variety of quantitative and analytical positions. He is a Research Affiliate at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory CIFT – one of the world’s largest supercomputing laboratories and part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science – where he used big data and statistical machine learning techniques for research aimed to contribute to the stability of global financial markets. He is also an advisor for the U.S. Financial Vulnerabilities Project at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), an division of the U.S. Department of Defense responsible for the development of emerging technologies. In addition, he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Young Jewish Professionals (YJP) group. He also received the Certificate of Quantitative Finance (CQF) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computational Finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
